The mother of a seven-year-old boy was told to sign a school form admitting he was racist after he asked another pupil about the colour of his skin.

Elliott Dearlove had asked a five-year-old boy in the playground whether he was ‘brown because he was from Africa’.

His mother, Hayley White, 29, said she received a phone call last month to say her son had been at the centre of a ‘racist incident’.

She was then summoned to a meeting with Elliott, his teacher and the deputy head of Griffin Primary School in Hull. *snip*

Ms White claimed she was asked at the meeting to read a copy of the school rules and in particular its zero-tolerance policy on racism.

‘I was told I would have to sign a form acknowledging my son had made a racist remark which would be submitted to the local education authority for further investigation,’ she said.

‘I refused to sign it and I told the teacher in no way did I agree the comment was racist. My son is inquisitive. He always likes to ask questions, but that doesn’t make him a racist.’

Would someone, for the love of God, please retire this loathsome word!

My God, what manner of pussies have we become that this is considered racist and hurtful!

ESPN apologizes for racist Lin headline

ESPN used a shockingly racist headline “Chink in the Armor” for the Knicks’ loss Friday night, along with a picture of Jeremy Lin, who is an Asian-American. The headline was eventually removed, and ESPN issued an apology late this morning.

“Last night, ESPN.com’s mobile web site posted an offensive headline referencing Jeremy Lin at 2:30 am ET. The headline was removed at 3:05 am ET. We are conducting a complete review of our cross-platform editorial procedures and are determining appropriate disciplinary action to ensure this does not happen again. We regret and apologize for this mistake.”

So racism is now a good joke? What’s next? Will eating pork rinds be considered racist? How about wearing white? Will anything be left when these lunatics are finished?

I say no, what say you?

Denied jobs, blacks in Iowa test new bias theory

In a case closely watched by civil rights activists, an Iowa judge will soon decide whether to grant thousands of black employees and job applicants monetary damages for hiring practices used by Iowa state government that they say have disadvantaged them. *snip*

Experts say the case is the largest class-action lawsuit of its kind against an entire state government’s civil service system, and tests a legal theory that social science and statistics alone can prove widespread discrimination. *snip*

The plaintiffs — up to 6,000 African-Americans passed over for state jobs and promotions dating back to 2003 — do not say they faced overt racism or discriminatory hiring tests in Iowa, a state that is 91 percent white. Instead, their lawyers argue that managers subconsciously favored whites across state government, leaving blacks at a disadvantage in decisions over who got interviewed, hired and promoted. *snip*

Judge Robert Blink’s decision, expected in coming weeks, could award damages and mandate changes in state personnel policies or dismiss a case that represents a growing front of discrimination litigation. *snip*

“Whenever there is a case like this that goes to trial, it’s of interest to all of us,” said Jocelyn Larkin, executive director of the Impact Fund, a Berkeley, Calif.-based nonprofit that supports employment discrimination lawsuits and has followed the case. … *snip*

University of Washington psychology professor Anthony Greenwald, an expert on implicit bias who testified on behalf of the plaintiffs, said the decision will be important nationally because similar cases against corporations have usually been dismissed or settled before trial. *snip*

Scholars and employment lawyers have shown a growing interest in implicit bias in the last several years, after Greenwald and other scientists developed the Implicit Association Test to test racial stereotypes. Their research found an inherent preference for whites over blacks — in up to 80 percent of test-takers and among many people who do not consider themselves racist. *snip*

The theory hit a legal obstacle last year when the U.S. Supreme Court disqualified a class-action lawsuit against Wal-Mart’s pay and promotion practices for women. The court found the class was too broad and failed to challenge a specific hiring practice as discriminatory. *snip*

Lawyers defending the state have cited that decision in asking Blink to dismiss the case. But the high court’s decision did not specifically reject the theory of implicit bias, and dissenting Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg wrote that such claims can be allowed. *snip*

Class attorney Thomas Newkirk said the science and other evidence that shows disadvantaged groups such as blacks face employment discrimination in subtle ways “is becoming overwhelming.” *snip*

“Clearly, the problem is not in Iowa alone, but we believe Iowa is the exactly the right place to ask society to take control of this important issue fairly for all races, and to seek a better future for all as a result,” said Newkirk, who was recently honored by the Des Moines chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People for his work on the case. *snip*

During a monthlong trial last fall, experts called by the plaintiffs’ lawyers testified that blacks are hired at lower rates than whites with similar qualifications and receive less favorable evaluations and lower starting salaries.

So riddle me this Bat-brain: if these Black folks win this settlement that will solve the problem, right? I mean, if they win this lawsuit all racial inequality will be solved and never be heard of again?

Or will it go on forever and ever amen?

Why the demands will continue

During New Zealand’s Waitaingi Day celebrations this week there was a classic illustration of why the liberal left continues to pressure whites in western countries into giving more resources to other races.

The nation’s race-relation conciliator Jores de Bres used the opportunity to complain that Pakeha (a Maori term for European New Zealanders) were continuing to resist moves to give “special treatment” to Maori. Mr de Bres argued this was unreasonable because Maori were, on average, economically worse off than whites. This is in spite of numerous land settlements and affirmation action opportunities awarded to Maori since the mid 1980s.

Thus inequality of outcome is the reason why the left continues to complain about white racism in developed countries like New Zealand. Providing equality of opportunity, plus reparations for colonisation and cultural subsidies (such as funding for indigenous languages) is not considered good enough. As with the middle class in a communist society, whites in a liberal society must continue to make sacrifices to non-whites, until their incomes are, on average the same as the lowest performing ethnicities.

Why is it White Firefighters or Cops never sue to make tests easier? Why is it no matter how dumbed down the tests get Whites and Asians still dominate? Why is it no matter how much money is wasted on/in the ghetto abso-fricken-lutely nothing changes?

The harsh truth is that the only peaceful societies are homogenous ones. The minute you allow lower IQ folk into your higher IQ country you will never have peace again because no matter how much you give them, abase yourself, offer your children and women to be raped and slaughtered, it will never be enough.

Because no matter what the other group will still have lower IQ’s and higher rates of dysfunction and failure. There is no “cure” for lower IQ except separation. None.

People often assume that I have some sort of animosity toward Blacks or Hispanics but that is deeply untrue. I genuinely wish them the best, just not here. I wish them every happiness their God given talents can secure for them, but I am sick to death of the idea that somehow Whites “owe” Black people a damn thing.

I am also tired of Black people building mini-Liberias on American soil and Mexicans building mini Mexico’s here as well. If you want to live in Africa why not go whole hog and enjoy the real thing? If you long to live in Mexico among Mexicans? Guess what? It’s like you won the lottery! Get in your vato mobile, point yourself South and keep driving until the cops are so corrupt that you are afraid to give them your driver’s license.

Then keep driving because you are most likely in Texas which Hispanics managed to ruin, thank you berry much! And just keep going til’ you hit ole Mexico you lucky sum-bitch!

But the larger point is this — when you are in your country, God bless you, I could give one furry rat’s ass what you do! Live in mud huts, rape your infants to cure AIDS, eat each other for all I care. You can build and enjoy whatever savage, backwards, disgusting culture you want to live in with my blessing so long as you don’t live in the adjoining apartment to mine, ya dig?

The caricature of Obama as a profligate queen relies on the racist stereotype of an “uppity Negro,” which emerged among slave masters in an earlier American era. Obama, born into a working-class Chicago family whose roots are traced to the pre-Civil War South, graduated from Princeton University and Harvard Law School, prior to holding several high-level positions in the academic and private sectors.

The racist image appeared Tuesday on the right-wing blog Gateway Pundit; the slur was later called out by Media Matters for America. A post by Gateway blogger Jim Hoft paired the picture with a clip of the first lady’s guest appearance on a forthcoming episode of “iCarly,” a Nickelodeon sit-com. In the script, Obama commends the cast for their support of military families. Responding to a cast member who mistakenly addresses her as “your excellency,” the script has Obama jokingly reply, “I kinda like it.”

Well. who knew that this was absolutely, scien-fuckin-tifically racism? I mean, sure, it’s a little harsh, but, racism? Seriously? And so much so that it can be reported as such, as an actual honest to goodness observable, provable fact in what passes for a newspaper these days?

Week seven of Melissa Harris-Perry’s introductory course in African-American studies at Tulane University includes a lecture about “the hollow prize” — a theory that African-Americans tend to be elected as mayor only after a city has tipped into economic decline.

One day last summer, when Ms. Harris-Perry was filling in for Rachel Maddow on MSNBC, she recast the class lecture as a television segment, invoking Detroit; her adopted home, New Orleans; President Obama; and tax policy.

It’s fascinating how something can be so true and false at the exact same time. Yes, it’s true that Blacks tend to only be elected Mayor of cities that are in decline, but that’s missing the point.

The reason Blacks are only the Mayors of failing cities is because those Blacks in those cities have gained demographic superiority. It’s not perfectly true, Mayor Harold Washington was Mayor of Chicago in the early eighties and I lived there then and I can tell you that Chicago was no Detroit.

One wonders what the good professor would say if you could strap her down and tickle the truth out of her as to why these cities are in economic decline?

One wonders when the number will be zero? And if that will satiate the need of Black South Africans to blame White South Africans for all of their failings?

The number of white South Africans will decrease by eight percent by 2025, according to a report by the SA Institute of Race Relations.

And by 2015, coloured South Africans will be the next largest race group in the country after Africans.

By 2040, there will be 20 percent fewer white South Africans than in 2010.

“The decline in the white and Indian populations is attributed to a combination of low fertility rates and higher emigration rates. the white population group has emigrated on a larger scale than other race groups, although a slowdown is foreseen,” according to the report authored by Thuthukani Ndebele.

“The African and coloured population groups are predicted to increase at a slower rate, largely because of HIV-Aids and declining fertility rates.”

The report was based on findings of a 2008 Actuarial Society of South Africa project, among others.

It found that HIV-Aids had a major effect on the structure of the African component of the South African population.

The marked decrease of the African population in the 35-39 age group is explained by the high prevalence rate of HIV-Aids in this group.

A decrease is also apparent in the white population in the 24-35 age groups, attributed to the high rate of emigration of white people of working age.

The greater numbers of elderly white people was due to better access to private health care, less poverty, and a higher standard of living.

The coloured population, although relatively stable, had a higher mortality rate in the 15-24 age group.

Colorblindness is the racial ideology that posits the best way to end discrimination is by treating individuals as equally as possible, without regard to race, culture, or ethnicity.

At its face value, colorblindness seems like a good thing — really taking MLK seriously on his call to judge people on the content of their character rather than the color of their skin. It focuses on commonalities between people, such as their shared humanity.

However, colorblindness alone is not sufficient to heal racial wounds on a national or personal level. It is only a half-measure that in the end operates as a form of racism….

Research has shown that hearing colorblind messages predict negative outcomes among Whites, such as greater racial bias and negative affect; likewise colorblind messages cause stress in ethnic minorities, resulting in decreased cognitive performance ….

The alternative to colorblindness is multiculturalism, an ideology that acknowledges, highlights, and celebrates ethnoracial differences.

Justice Clarence Thomas insists upon “a ‘moral and constitutional equivalence’ between laws designed to subjugate a race and those that distribute benefits on the basis of race in order to foster some current notion of equality.” This asserted congruence between Jim Crow laws and affirmative action seems intellectually indefensible–but it is now a constitutional commonplace, as it underlies the contemporary rise of an anticlassification understanding of the Equal Protection Clause that accords race-conscious remedies and racial subjugation the same level of legal hostility. This Article lays out the intellectual history of “reactionary colorblindness,” meaning the current form of race blindness that principally targets affirmative action. Measuring debates among legal elites against a background of evolving racial ideas, this Article traces the use of colorblindness to attack Jim Crow in the years before Brown v. Board of Education, and as a tactic to forestall integration in that decision’s immediate wake. It then locates the proximate origins of contemporary colorblindness in the effort by neoconservatives beginning in the 1960s to respond to an emerging structural understanding of racism by positing instead an ethnic reconceptualization of race. The ethnic analysis replaced the notion of dominant and subordinate races with a narrative of culturally defined groups in pluralistic competition, where culture rather than systemic racial advantaging or disadvantaging explained disparate group success. This Article demonstrates the foundational role ethnicity played in Justice Lewis Powell’s 1978 Bakke opinion, and also shows how his analysis subsequently served as the cornerstone for contemporary colorblind reasoning, evident for instance in Richmond v. Croson. Finally, this Article argues that the liberal legal defenders of affirmative action, by remaining wedded to mid-century racial orthodoxies, not only failed in the 1970s to respond effectively to the emergence of reactionary colorblindness but contributed to its intellectual legitimacy.

Remember: not privileging Blacks and Hispanics because of the color of their skin would be the height of racism, wait, what?

It’s important to understand that the actual object of the exercise is to so utterly control the dialogue on these subjects that they can declare that supporting affirmative action is racist on Monday-Wednesday-Friday and not supporting it is racist on Tuesday-Thursday and the weekends.

Because at it’s heart this is about controlling people, not language but you take control of people by taking control of language, n’est ce pas?

Three more men arrested in Gert Town gang rape

Authorities have arrested three more suspects in the kidnapping and gang rape of a home health care nurse which occurred eight days ago in Gert Town.

They arrested 17-year-old Glenn Elliott, 19-year-old Darren Holmes, and 21-year-old Jeremy Rumley around 10 p.m. last night, according to a release from the New Orleans Police Department. The men were found by members of the NOPD Special Operations Division and the U.S. Marshals Task Force hiding out in a home in the 2800 block of St. Louis St. They were all booked with armed robbery, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated rape.

Three days ago, 21-year-old Brian Beasley turned himself in to police for the same crime after learning detectives had a warrant for his arrest, according to the release.

Bond for each man has been set at $1 million, according to Orleans Parish criminal court records.

Rumley, Holmes and Elliott each have several felony arrests, including firearms charges. Beasley has been booked with drug charges on several occasions. The arrest register lists Beasley as a mechanic who lives in Central City about two miles from where the attack occurred.

The victim, a 53-year-old woman, said she was preparing to visit a patient in the 4100 block of Thalia Street about 4 p.m. Jan. 26 when two armed men approached her and tried to rob her, according to police documents.

The area is desolate and made up largely of derelict structures and overgrown lots. The victim was a dedicated nurse who was not known to refuse visits to those who needed them, according to several friends and colleagues.

The men initially asked her for money, according to a police report, and then one of them got into her car and forced her to drive away.

The man directed her to a fourplex in the 1300 block of South Gayoso Street, two blocks away from where she was abducted, where as many as a half-dozen men who wore bandannas over their faces raped her, police have said.

Unfortunately the story doesn’t end here…

In 1999 I witnessed a gang rape in Sierra Leone. I was forced to watch a group of rebel soldiers taking it in turns to rape a young girl in front of an audience of jeering men. It was the height of the civil conflict and rape had become a devastating weapon of war. When I moved to Britain I believed I had escaped such horrific sexual violence. As my Dispatches investigation tomorrow night shows, I was mistaken. Gang rape is happening here – and what I have found most disturbing as an African is that a disproportionate number of these attacks are being carried out by black or mixed-race young men.

According to a new study from the Crime Prevention Council, Brå, it is four times more likely that a known rapist is born abroad, compared to persons born in Sweden. Resident aliens from Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia dominate the group of rape suspects. According to these statistics, almost half of all perpetrators are immigrants. In Norway and Denmark, we know that non-Western immigrants, which frequently means Muslims, are grossly overrepresented on rape statistics. In Oslo, Norway, immigrants were involved in two out of three rape charges in 2001. The numbers in Denmark were the same, and even higher in the city of Copenhagen with three out of four rape charges. Sweden has a larger immigrant, including Muslim, population than any other country in northern Europe. The numbers there are likely to be at least as bad as with its Scandinavian neighbors. The actual number is thus probably even higher than what the authorities are reporting now, as it doesn’t include second generation immigrants. Lawyer Ann Christine Hjelm, who has investigated violent crimes in Svea high court, found that 85 per cent of the convicted rapists were born on foreign soil or by foreign parents.

The simple truth is that every White Western nation that was foolish enough to allow Blacks, Hispanics and Muslims in are now paying a horrific price for that lapse. I often hear people ask when the race war might begin. I think the honest answer is too frightening for most of them, it already has and is only getting more intense.
